daisy crazy

i've been all about vintage fabric lately, be it actual yardage or reclaimed napkins, curtains, or bed linens. if it's a good print, i'm all over it.

i'm still loving so many of the fabulous japanese imports, but lately i switch on-and-off, back-and-forth between japanese and vintage. on the sewing front, that is; on the buying and swapping fronts, i'm swinging decidedly toward vintage.

i harbor a particular love for daisy prints. can you tell? that funky sixties bit down below is what the brits call towelling. terry cloth! can you imagine? i'm trying to decided what to do with it, and am thinking of a zippy pouch just like the one featured in jenny ryan's super-inspiring sew darn cute. whenever i get around to learning how to work with zippers, that is.

If you are loving vintage daisies, you are going to flip over the vintage curtains I bought yesterday! I didn't get photos yet, but when I do you are in for a treat. ;)

Oh, and this is just the tip of the iceberg, as I've since added to the collection. I also have a strawberry fetish which needs to be documented.

Just saw your awesome curtains ... how very cute!! What a score!
