the reversible striped bunny

i don't think there's a sewing project i've enjoyed quite as much as this one, to be honest. i just think this reversible bunny (made from purl's free best bunnies pattern) is so darned cute and cheery, and i smile whenever i see it. and if it brings its new owner (due on 10 september) half as much pleasure as i had in making it, then her parents (josh & sharon) will have a very smooth transition indeed into parenthood!

i blanket-stitched the two woolen sides together with some supersoft baby alpaca-silk yarn, before stuffing her full with nature-fil.


time to bid her a fond farewell, as she's soon headed for connecticut. ta-ta, sweet bunny!
